This reroof project took place over 3 days and included:
✔ Full tear-off of the existing roof
✔ Roof deck inspection and preparation
✔ Installation of a brand-new roofing system
✔ Final cleanup and walkthrough
One thing we’ve learned over the years is that most homeowners don’t replace roofs very often. For many people, it’s unfamiliar territory. That’s why we believe transparency matters. We wanted to document this project so homeowners throughout Salem and the Willamette Valley can better understand what the roof replacement process actually involves.
Day 1 focused on the full tear-off and preparation phase. Removing old roofing materials allows us to inspect the roof decking and identify any hidden issues that may have developed over time from Oregon’s wet climate, moss growth, and moisture exposure.
On Day 2, we began installation of the new roofing system. This is where the project really starts coming together. Proper underlayments, flashing details, ventilation, and installation methods all play an important role in helping a roof perform long term in Pacific Northwest weather conditions.
By Day 3, the installation was complete and the property was fully cleaned up. Final walkthroughs are an important part of our process because we want homeowners to feel confident in both the workmanship and the overall experience.
