These labor terms apply to the selected shingle system. Your proposal states the term for other systems. Coverage is measured from substantial completion and takes effect after full payment.
From the product manufacturer
Manufacturer material warranty
Addresses covered manufacturing defects in the roofing products, under the manufacturer’s terms.
Malarkey shingles include a Limited Lifetime manufacturer warranty, subject to the applicable warranty’s conditions and exclusions.
Coverage periods and benefits depend on the product and warranty. Any enhanced coverage must meet its eligibility and registration requirements; it is not automatic.
These are separate warranties with different covered issues, conditions, and exclusions. Your signed Moss Boss contract and current warranty document govern workmanship coverage. The applicable manufacturer documents govern material coverage. We’ll walk you through both before you decide.
What affects roof replacement cost?
Roof area, steepness, layout, existing layers, access, decking condition, and your selected materials all affect the proposal. Interior living space alone is not the same as roof area.

How long will the project take?
Timing depends on roof size, complexity, access, weather, and any additional work discovered. We discuss the expected schedule for your project rather than promise one timeline for every home.
What if you find damaged decking?
The proposal should explain how additional work is evaluated and priced. Ask us how changes will be communicated and approved before the project starts.
What warranty comes with my roof?
Your roof comes with both Moss Boss labor/workmanship coverage and a manufacturer warranty on the selected roofing materials. The labor term depends on your shingle system. Each warranty has its own covered issues, conditions, and exclusions. Compare both warranties above, then review your signed contract and the applicable warranty documents.
